ClickStack

ClickStack is an open-source observability solution designed to help users quickly collect, centralize, search, visualize, and alert on telemetry data (logs, metrics, traces). It is built on ClickHouse for storage, HyperDX for visualization, and OpenTelemetry for ingestion.

The stack provides an easy way to instrument applications, allowing users to trace issues from bug reports to session replays, backend API calls, database queries, and infrastructure metrics, all within a single view. It offers a cost-effective and performant alternative to proprietary observability vendors, enabling smooth migration to an open-source solution. ClickStack supports various data sources, including logs and traces from Node.js or Ruby, and metrics from Kubernetes or bare metal infrastructure. It features a familiar Lucene-like search syntax, SQL mode for complex queries, and high cardinality outlier analysis to aid in debugging regressions and anomalies.
